With their various cockpit sizes and general bulky shapes, kayaks can be a bear to portage. The 3" risers on this easy to install yoke gives better visibility than others we've tried. The semi curved pad system prevents the kayak from slipping off your shoulders during uphill or downhill portaging or when you're tired from paddling. The non-slip, non-marring clamps attach firmly onto the cockpit combing without damaging your craft.
