This nostalgic waxed canvas pack has stepped right out of the history books. The Cliff Jacobson Signature Pack is an improved version of the old Nessmuk. It is just the right size for day tripping. Cliff's design enhancements include re-spec'd side pockets so that each one runs full length with room for two one-liter bottles side-by-side. There's a clever extra full-length "open" pocket on each side as well. The large interior zippered pocket has been lengthened by about four inches, providing room for small personals. Relocated haul handle gives neutral balance. Longer flaps ensure water shedding even in an overstuffed pack.
"I just love this little pack," says Cliff. "It carries my stove, fuel, kitchen gear, first-aid and repair kits and sundries. The rectangular design allows the pack to stand solidly upright on its base and maintain its shape in camp. Frost River's signature waxed cotton fabric is luxuriously soft and completely rain-proof. The pack even sits comfortably on top of another pack when carried "tumpline-fashion."
