NOT waterproof I have owned this bag, branded as a BELL for 13 years. I love the self standing style, and the great strap set up. It is a great food pack. There is one glaring fault, it is not waterproof, so all of your food stuff will get soaked. Your options are to line it with plastic, or cover it with a plastic bag before you hang it. Both are terrible solutions for a bag this expensive. It is TOO bad that they did not upgrade the exterior material to SUNBRELLA so you would have a bag that sheds water like the bimini and dodger on our sailboat. FROM THE BOUNDARY WATERS CATALOG. Thank you for the review and your feedback, however this bag isn't designed to be waterproof or sold as waterproof. Suggestions are welcome, so we'll post your review. We do sell a waterproof food barrel as well.
