Chota Hippie For wet-weather trips, especially those that require some wading,, Chota Hippies are hard-to-beat. They are waterproof, breathable and so light you will hardly know you're wearing them. Roll 'em down for breathability--they stay put. Roll 'em up for full leg protection (no need for rain pants). Recommendation: the elastic belt cords aren't secure enough; a pair of small carabiner's clipped to belt loops works better. The Caney Fork boot system is terrific but you can wear Hippies inside any boots or shoes (boots must be a full size larger than your usual size).

Great Product! Received a pair of these as a gift and was really impressed by how convenient and lightweight they are. Hardly noticeable for a long portage or hike to a fishing hole. Work great with standard hiking boots, even better with the Trekkers! Easy to forget you're wearing them, so watch out for brush and thorns. In a few years when I've destroyed these I'm sure I'll buy another pair. One of those products that makes life significantly better!
