water from boot drains into canoe I bought the boots and leggings for carrying my canoe in the Adirondacks. Boot is very comfortable and protects me from mud and rocky areas. But when I put feet in canoe a significant amount of water pours from the boot into the canoe. I must keep a sponge an use it to get rid of the water otherwise my pack and other items in the canoe will be saturated with water. From now on when I put canoe in water I will take boots off and put in canoe. Then just step in the canoe with the leggings on. Don't need the hoots in the canoe.

Great Product I've found that many products which are supposedly designed to keep your feet dry aren't really designed for anyone who is walking back and forth along portage trails and bushwacking back into side lakes while wilderness canoeing in the BWCA or Quetico. I purchased these socks before taking a 10 day trip into QPP at the end of last May and was really impressed with their performance. I obviously had to be careful not to go in over my knees in muck or water but they kept my feet dry after slogging through muddy and wet portages which included some bushwacking back into Moxness and Tubman off of Sturgeon. They do stink a bit after 10 days but what doesn't :)
