The Solar Powered Luci Light lights your camp beautifully while in the Boundary Waters. "Luci" is an inflatable water-resistant bright LED solar lantern with three light settings-dim, bright and emergency flashing. It is also collapsible, compact and highly portable. Suitable for all weather conditions. A five to seven hour charge in direct sunlight can generate between six to twelve hours of light- up to 24 hours on the low setting! Illuminates up to 15 square feet. It will charge incandescent light. Since it holds 50% of it's charge for up to 2 years, it is perfect to keep on hand for power outages or in the backpack for emergencies.

Luci Light The Luci Light is the best camp light I've ever used! It's lightweight, compact, waterproof, and about as bright as a 40 watt lightbulb. You can set it on a table, hang it from a branch or clip it to your belt. It has largely replaced my head-lamp. Start your trip with a fully charged light; hang it in the sun for an hour each day and you'll be good to go for a two week trip. It recharges completely in 6-8 hours--a fully-charged light will remain bright for 10-12 hours. I bring two Luci lights and alternate them each night. Caution: The flexible plastic globe may crack if you attempt to expand or compress it when temperatures are much below freezing. The light works fine in flattened/storage mode.

Luci light Gave it to 6 backpacking relatives. I have one, and really like it for back-up lighting. Haven't heard yet if they like it, but they do like the weight.
